The RRHF has funded a number of valued short term technical and
financial interventions to support the Minister of Health.
The RRHF was established at the beginning of Minister
Hogan's term of office. It was therefore essential that the fund
was flexible enough to accomodate unanticipated needs.
These have ranged from direct support to the minister to assistance
in meeting urgent service delivery challenges. Two areas that have
received attention are costing of programmes to combat multi- and
extensively- drug resistant tuberculosis (TBM/XDRTB) and ART
delivery. Donor coordination is another area that has been
identified as a priority.
